Creamy, high-protein frozen treats made with Greek yogurt, natural peanut butter, and a touch of sweetness. The perfect healthy alternative to ice cream.

  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 12 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup natural creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, sweetener, and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk the mixture vigorously until it is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips if using.
  4. Line a mini muffin tin with silicone liners or lightly grease with coconut oil.
  5. Spoon the mixture evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Place the tray in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the bites are firm to the touch.
  7. Pop the bites out of the mold and serve immediately or store in the freezer.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for a creamier texture.
  • Let bites thaw for 2 minutes before eating for the best consistency.
  • Substitute almond butter for a different flavor profile.
